Building off their first win of the season, the Lady Builders had four players score in double figures to lift the team to a 69-57 victory over SUNY-Delhi on Sunday afternoon. Ylexzis Traeger continued her strong start to the season with 16 points and 13 rebounds to lead the team. Aquazia Jones added 14 points while Julissa Riddick scored 11 and Latrice Washington added 10 points, respectively.
ON THE COURT:
- The Lady Builders dominated the boards with a 66-41 rebounds. Four players brought in double-digit rebounds with Ylexzis Traeger leading the way with 13 boards. Tyne Innocent grabbed 12 boards off the bench while Julissa Riddick pulled down 11 and Quanisha Bruce brought in 10.
- The team shot 34% from the field and scored 25 second-chance points to SUNY Delhi's 10 points in second chance opportunities.
- Apprentice School had seven blocks on the game with Traeger swatting three of her own.
- SUNY Delhi was led by Samiaya Salley with 26 points.
The Apprentice School returns to action on Tuesday evening when they travel to face Randolph Macon for a 7 p.m. tip.
