"I'd like to thank the search committee; Michael Allen, John Davis, Sean Hanrahan, and Matt Trotman, as well at Dr. Latitia McCane for offering me this outstanding opportunity! Over the last two years, I've seen tremendous growth and development within our athletic department and school. Serving as the men's basketball coach the last two years was a dream come true, but I couldn't pass up this promotion to further enhance my career in athletics. Athletics has been a part of the Apprentice School for 100 years, and I'm thrilled to be a small part of continuing the legacy of developing leaders for Newport News Shipbuilding and the community." Evan Kee, Associate Athletic Director stated.
