With the bases loaded, Lou Picolo laced a line drive to right center that would score 2 and extend the lead to 4 to 0. A couple of hit by pitches, an error and a sac fly from Thomas Packert would give the Builders a commanding 8 to 0 lead after 2 innings of play.
The Bulldogs began to threaten in the fourth after a solo homerun but Jones shut down the rally with a double play. Thomas Packert collected another RBI in the 4th on a sac fly. The Builders scored two runs in the bottom of the 6th as a result of walks and the ten run rule came into effect. The Builders got the job done today with a great first round win.
