Apprentice School never trailed in the contest as they jumped out with the first five points in a Tevin Andrews jumper along with a bucket and free throw from Isaih Harrison.  The Sabers cut the score to 7-5 on a Carlos Benton jumper with 14:05 left.

Following a Joe Miller free throw for Barber-Scotia to within seven at 15-8 with 10:46 left, Apprentice School started on its 18-4 run with a dunk from Harrison finishing that with 6:09 left as the hosts jumped to a 33-12 lead.  After a pair of free throws form Benton and a jumper from Miller, Apprentice School closed the half on a 10-0 run to take a 43-16 lead at half on a Darrell Fenton layup with 23 seconds left.

Barber-Scotia started the second half scoring the first seven points to bring the deficit to 20 but that was as close as they got in the second half.  The Builders closed the deal scoring the final 10 points in the last 4:53 as freshman Tony Walton paced that run with six points.
