Box Score Washington, DC – The Apprentice School Women's Basketball team traveled to our nation's capital Saturday afternoon to open the 2021-2022 season at Trinity Washington University. It was the first game for Head Coach Antonio Hill at the helm of the Lady Builders program and she was hoping to have the same success as she did when she was an Apprentice Student-Athlete. The Lady Builders would go into DC and play a strong, competitive game but, unfortunately, would not come home with the win, as the fell by a score of 69-66.
Apprentice Highlights
The first quarter ended in a tie 17-17 and then the Lady Builders outscored Trinity Washington 22-13 to take a 39-30 lead at the half. Trinity Washington went on a 25-8 run in the third qaurter and Apprentice made a comeback in the fourth quarter but just fell short.
