NEWPORT NEWS - Friday's women's basketball game between The Apprentice School and Berkeley has been canceled. The game will not be made up this season.

As a result of the late cancelation, the game will be listed as a forfeit loss for the Apprentice School, whose record now stands at 9-8 on the season.

The next scheduled contest for the women's basketball team is February 8 at Virginia Wesleyan.
