DUBOIS, Pa. - The Apprentice School baseball team had their season ended Wednesday by Miami Hamilton in a 13-3 loss in the USCAA Small College World Series. The Builders finish the year 41-10, the most wins in program history in a single season.
The Builders scored the first three runs of the game, starting with a second inning bomb from
Hunter Johnson to take a 1-0 lead before a wild pitch and a RBI groundout in the third made the score 3-0. From there, it was all Harriers as they scored seven in the bottom of the third, five in the bottom of the fifth and a walk off single in the sixth to finish off the game via 10-run rule.
The Builders finished the tournament with a 2-2 record. The 2025 Builders will likely return nearly the entire team as
Riggs Ellis was the only graduating senior on the squad this season. The fall season will pick up in just a few months before the 2025 season kicks off in February.
