Lamberson, Wright Earn All-American Honors

BUFFALO, N.Y. - Two Apprentice School women's basketball players were named to the USCAA All-American Team Monday night at the championship banquet. Cornasia Lamberson earned first team status, while Joy Wright was named to the second team.

Lamberson leads the country in field goal percentage, scoring 10 games in double figures, including two with 25 or more points. She sits 27th in the country in rebounds per game, ninth in the country in offensive rebounds per game and 30th in the country in scoring.

Wright also has 10 games in double figures and is sixth in the nation in field goal percentage. She is 38th in the nation in scoring and 25th in the nation in blocks.

The Builders will play in the USCAA Division I National Tournament for the first time since 2023 when they battle third-seeded Paul Quinn Tuesday at 4:45 p.m.
