LOUISBURG, N.C. – Chris Ivey was named the New South Athletic Conference Golfer of the Week, while Kristopher Leslie earned NSAC Football Special Teams Player of the Week honors, the conference announced Monday.

In the golf team's opening weekend at SUNY Delhi, Ivey shot a 72 Saturday in the Bronco Invitational, then a 75 the next day at the Bronco Fall Tournament on the par-71 College Golf Course at Delhi. He finished tied for fourth on Saturday and tied for seventh on Sunday.

Leslie did his job all evening to help pin the Captains of Christopher Newport as far back as possible. On the night, Leslie had five punts with a long of 46, with one downed inside the 20.
