Biography

Career: In 2018, was named player of the week. In 2019, Byrum was named a 1st Team USCAA All American.

2016-17- Played 14 games with 13 at bats and 2 hits, ended the season with .154 ERA

2017-18- Played in 37 games, had 120 at bats and recorded 41 hits. Had 27 RBIs on the season and finished the year with a .342 ERA.

2018-19- Played 41 games with 145 at bats and had a career high of 55 hits and 42 RBIs. He finished the season with .379 ERA.

2019-20-Played and started 18 out of 19 games. Had 65 at bats and recorded 22 hits. His first career homerun was a 3 run shot, adding to his total of 15 RBIs. Finished his final season with a .338 batting average.

Brent Byrum enters his senior season this spring. He has been instrumental in our Builders Baseball success over his three year career. With a career batting average of .353, 69 RBI and a slugging percentage of .421, he will be looked upon to help lead the Builders once again this spring. He is a former standout at York High School and native of Yorktown, VA.
