Kaitlyn Riggins

Kaitlyn Riggins, MS, ATC, serves as an Athletic Trainer at The Apprentice School, where she supports the Builder athlete community in their pursuit of excellence both in their trades and in competition. She values a collaborative approach to care, working closely with coaches, staff, and medical professionals to ensure student-athletes receive comprehensive support on and off the field.

Originally from New Jersey, Kaitlyn began her career in New York, providing athletic training services in a physical therapy clinic while supporting local athletic programs through outreach coverage. She went on to serve as a graduate assistant athletic trainer with Division I hockey at Liberty University, where she strengthened her passion for sports medicine, teamwork, and optimal athletic performance.

Kaitlyn later expanded her clinical experience, working with Sentara Sports Medicine and Atlantic Orthopaedic Specialists in Virginia Beach, where she collaborated with sports medicine physicians to deliver high-quality patient care and integrated sports medicine services. She also served as a preceptor for Old Dominion University’s athletic training students, mentoring the next generation of healthcare professionals.

Kaitlyn earned her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Liberty University and her Master of Science in Human Performance with a concentration in Clinical Cognition. She is currently pursuing her Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES) certification to further enhance her ability to support athletes and workers through movement efficiency and injury prevention.
