HAMPTON - The Apprentice School wrestling team finished in 10th place at the Virginia Duals in the American College Division Saturday afternoon, going 2-2 on the weekend.

Both Builder losses were by a combined 11 points. Apprentice started the tournament off with a 23-16 loss to Belmont Abbey in the opening round, pushing the Builders to the left side of the bracket. A swift 59-0 win over Rowan finished off Friday's action.

On Saturday, Apprentice was back in action and secured a 30-19 win over Penn College of Technology to earn a spot to compete for the top team on the consolation side of the bracket. A tough fought match against Frostburg State ensued with the Builders on the wrong side of the scoreboard in a 25-21 loss.

Apprentice's women are in action tomorrow at the Will Abele Invitational, while the men jump back into action on January 27 in Virginia Beach as they host the Sword and Hammer Invitational.
