LYNCHBURG, Va. - The Apprentice School men's basketball team struggled to hit shots in the first half as they fell to Lynchburg Sunday afternoon, 83-68.
The Hornets led wire-to-wire as the Builders shot just 25.7 percent from the floor in the first half. Lynchburg stretched their lead to as many as 19 in the second half, despite Apprentice nearly doubling their shooting percentage in the second half.
Donovan Means led all scorers with 21 points on 8-of-16 shooting, while
Adrion Wall added 18 points. Both players hit three shots from beyond the arc.
The Builders will return home next weekend to host the Great Ships Classic December 7-8.
