2/24/2026 12:02:00 PM

PITTSBURGH - The Apprentice School women's basketball team is back in the national tournament for the first time since 2023 as they claimed the No. 6 seed, announced by the national office in the selection show Tuesday morning.

The Builders, fresh off winning their first conference championship in program history, will take on third-seeded Paul Quinn on March 3. Game time will be announced in the coming days.

Apprentice will head to Buffalo, New York, for the tournament, starting on March 2 with the skills competition and banquet, before tipping off the next day. Should the Builders win Tuesday, they would take on the winner of second-seeded and defending national champion North American and seventh-seeded Five Towns on Thursday in the semifinals. The national championship is set for 5:30 p.m. on Friday at SUNY Erie's Burt Flickinger Arena.

On the other side of the bracket, Bloomfield claimed the top seed and will take on eighth-seeded Berkeley. Bryant & Stratton Buffalo is the No. 4 seed and will battle fifth-seeded Denmark Tech in the opening round.

Links for tickets, live stats and live video will be made available in the coming days on the women's basketball schedule page at GoBuilders.com.
