Hampton, VA – The Apprentice Baseball team began a 3-game weekend series on Friday as they welcomed in Bloomsburg University to Historic War Memorial Stadium.  Friday would be a doubleheader between the two teams, and it would begin a week-long stretch of games for the Builders.

Game 1 Highlights

Apprentice jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the first inning, however the Huskies scored 5 straight runs to take the game by a score of 5-1.

Maxwell Burcham 1-3 with a double

Tyler Winegrad recorded 6 strikeouts

Bloomsburg held the Builders scoreless and swept the day winning by a score of 9-0.

Camden Weston finished 2-2 from the plate

Kyle Whitlock went 2-3
