NEWPORT NEWS - The Apprentice School, Virginia Peninsula Community College and Tidewater Community College are coming together on Wednesday, December 10, for the Third Annual Toy Drive, coinciding with a basketball doubleheader at Apprentice.
The women's game between the Builders and TCC will tip off at 5 p.m. with the men's contest between AS and VPCC following 30 minutes after. Fans that bring an unwrapped, unopened toy will gain free admission to the doubleheader.
All toys donated will go to benefit the JK Foundation and Alive Church's Dream Center. This is the second straight year the toy drive has benefited the two groups.
The game will also serve as the Apprentice Athletics Booster Club social for basketball season.
