NEWPORT NEWS - Tickets for the seventh annual Hall of Fame Weekend festivities at The Apprentice School are on sale now!

The weekend's festivities start on Thursday, October 2, with the third annual Hall of Fame Golf Tournament. All proceeds from the golf tournament go directly to the Hall of Fame initiative. Foursomes are $400 each and include breakfast and lunch. The shotgun start is at 8 a.m. at Sleepy Hole Golf Course in Suffolk.

The weekend continues on Friday, October 3, with the induction ceremony, held this year at Paradise Ocean Club in Hampton. The class of Dr. Steve Apostoles, Tony Brown, Carroll Burch, Herb Fields, Wayne Kirby and Rahshann Lewter will be formally inducted into the history books as the seventh class of Hall of Famers at The Apprentice School during the dinner and ceremony that starts at 5:30 p.m. with a cocktail hour.

Finally, the Hall of Famers will be honored at halftime of the Hall of Fame Day football game on October 4 against South Georgia Institute. Kickoff is at 1 p.m. and tickets for the game can be purchased by clicking the tickets tab at GoBuilders.com.
