NEWPORT NEWS - Leading up to the Hall of Fame Weekend and Induction Ceremony in October, The Apprentice School Department of Athletics will highlight each of the five inductees of the upcoming class. Today, we put the spotlight on former women's basketball player Rahshann Lewter.
Lewter played women's basketball from 2005-2009. During her career, she posted records that still stand to this day. She is the career leader in assists and minutes played. She is also third in career steals, assists per game and field goals attempted; fourth in free throws made and attempted and steals per game; fifth in career points and field goals made; and ninth all-time in scoring average.
Tickets for the 2025 Hall of Fame Weekend are on sale now. Fans can purchase a foursome for the Third Annual Hall of Fame Golf Tournament on the morning of October 2 at Sleepy Hole Golf Course in Suffolk, Virginia, and/or tickets for the Induction Ceremony to be held on the evening of October 3 at the Paradise Ocean Club in Hampton, Virginia.
