NEWPORT NEWS - The eighth class of the Apprentice Athletics Hall of Fame has yet to be selected, but it is time for you to send in your nominations for this class!

All previous nominations will be considered fully, so those do not need to be resubmitted. Any questions on if a former athlete, coach or contributor has been nominated should be directed to Walker McCrary, Assistant Athletic Director, Communications, at walker.mccrary@as.edu.

Nominations can be made by filling out the link above.

Nominees for the Hall of Fame must meet the following criteria:

• Former athletes must not have played within the past five calendar years.
• Nominees must have graduated from The Apprentice School. Exceptions to this rule include, but are not limited to, military service and/or injury that forced the nominee to be unable to graduate. All exceptions will be considered by the selection committee on a case-by-case basis.

While the nominations are open year-round, the deadline to nominate for consideration in the Class of 2026 is March 13, 2026.
