FAIRMONT, W. Va. - Lucas Vannostrand won another tournament this weekend as The Apprentice School men's wrestling team competed at the Fairmont State Invitational as the only NCWA school at the Division II tournament.

Vannostrand went 3-0 on the weekend at 125 pounds, making the championship bout in every tournament he has competed in this season. Now 20-3 on the year, the sophomore won his three bouts by major decision, injury default and 8-4 decision in the championship.

Jalen Terry-Winston placed fourth at heavyweight, while Landon Michael and Amari Williams each earned sixth place finishes at heavyweight and 149 pounds, respectively. Owen Cherry and Ethan Vannostrand each went 2-2 on the day.

The Builders will, for the first time this season, wrestle in Hampton Roads next weekend at the Virginia Duals. The schedule will be released later this week.
