NEWPORT NEWS - The Apprentice School football team and head coach Vincent Brown have announced the slate of games for the 2026 season.

The season will kick off August 29 as the Builders host Sussex County CC on Alumni Day with a slated kickoff time of 3 p.m. One week later, the Builders head just a few miles north in Newport News for a 7 p.m. kickoff against Christopher Newport in just the second meeting between the two programs.

After a road trip to N.C. Wesleyan on September 12, Apprentice has back-to-back home games. September 19 is Hall of Fame Day against Moravian, while September 26 will be against Methodist.

The Builders then have three road trips in a row, starting with Thaddeus Stevens on October 10, followed by Keystone on October 17 and the New South Athletic Conference opener against South Carolina Central Christian on October 24.

The regular season concludes with two home games against Clayton State (October 31), which will serve as Homecoming, and Coppin State (November 7), which will be Senior Day.

Information on tailgating season passes and single game tickets will come later this summer.
