NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Senior T.K. Petty was recently honored by the Virginia Sports Information Directors (VaSID) with College Division Football All-State honors, as announced by the organization.

In his senior campaign on the gridiron, Petty, a first-team All-New South Athletics Conference (NSAC) selection, added to his accolades with Second-Team All-State honors from VaSID. In 2025, Petty averaged 77.4 receiving yards per game and 18.2 yards per reception, hauling in six touchdown catches during the season. He also contributed on special teams with two punt returns totaling 25 yards.

The four-year starter from Norfolk suited up in 35 games, amassing 2,564 yards on 133 receptions with 22 touchdowns. Averaging 19.3 yards per catch and 73.3 yards per game, Petty added five total tackles and a forced fumble.

VaSID names 44 all-state teams in 23 sports each year, as well as an Academic All-State squad and an all-sports champion in both the University and College Divisions. Membership in VaSID is open to all media relations professionals working at a university or conference in the state of Virginia.
