EMORY, Va. - Two Apprentice School women's wrestlers were in action Friday at the Wasp Open, hosted by Emory & Henry.
At 138,
Karmen McKnight had a tough draw, falling in both of her matches, one to Brewton-Parker's Kathleen Fisher and one to East Stroudsburg's Emily Nunez.
At 160,
Ida Pellei went 3-2 after falling in her first match of the tournament. Pellei got back-to-back-to-back falls in the consolation bracket before dropping the consolation semifinal to East Stroudsburg's Tiffani Baublitz.
The women have wrapped up their 2024 portion of the schedule and will next be in action January 9 at Misericordia.
