EMORY, Va. - The Apprentice School women's wrestling team finished up their portion of the 2025 calendar at the Wasp Open last weekend.

Kaylee Campbell finished in second place at 110 pounds, going 3-1 with a pair of pins. Her only loss came in her third match of the day, while her final match was a win via forfeit. Both of her pins came within the first minute of the match.

Janyla Anderson moved up a weight class to 124 and went 1-1 on the weekend, winning her match by fall at the 2:31 mark against second-seeded Madison Wilson of Emory & Henry. Ida Pellei also moved up a weight class to 160, winning her first round match via fall at 48 seconds before running into two wrestlers from Division II opponents.

The women's next event will be the Builder Invitational January 17 in Newport News.
