SUFFOLK - Chris Ivey shot a career-best score of 1-under 71 as The Apprentice School men's golf team wrapped up a match Wednesday at Sleepy Hole against MACU and Chowan.

Chowan won the match with both of their teams shooting 293 and 297, respectively. The Builders shot 316, while MACU finished with a score of 342.

Ivey's 71 tied for second on the day in the 28-player field. Parker Wells was the next Builder on the leaderboard at 79, while Dylan Liakos shot 81.

The Builders next competition will be for the NSAC Championship down in Charlotte, North Carolina, September 29-30.
