CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Apprentice School men's golf team captured its first conference championship Tuesday, winning the first ever New South Athletic Conference Championship at The Divide.
Parker Wells won the tournament to be named individual medalist. After a 5-over 77 opening round had him one stroke behind teammate
Chris Ivey, Wells shot 1-over 73 in the final round to best Ivey by one shot.
Kai Crockett was the third Builder on the leaderboard, shooting a 163 as an individual participant in the tournament.
The Builders will wrap up the fall season October 13-14 at the USCAA National Championships in State College, Pennsylvania.
