DELHI, N.Y. - The Apprentice School golf team wrapped up the opening weekend of the season Sunday at SUNY Delhi, playing two rounds Saturday and Sunday.
On Saturday, the Builders took part in the SUNY Delhi Bronco Fall Invitational, finishing seventh out of 12 teams in the tournament.
Parker Wells finished as the high Builder, ending up in 18th place after a 6-over 78. He carded three birdies on the day.
The Broncos won the tournament, shooting 8-over as a team. AS defeated Western Connecticut State, PSU Scranton, SUNY Poly, SUNY Cobleskill and VTSU Johnson in the tournament.
Sunday, the Builders took on the Broncos in a head-to-head match with SUNY Delhi taking the win.
Dillon Mickles shot the best round of the weekend for AS, firing a 2-over 74 with four birdies.
The Builders will be back in action at home on Monday, September 8, at Sleepy Hole.
