STATE COLLEGE, Pa. - The Apprentice School golf team claimed the bronze medal Tuesday at the USCAA Golf National Championships.

Dillon Mickles each earned First Team All-American honors after the tournament concluded. Carr finished in a tie for third after leading the tournament through 18 holes. Mickles finished in a tie for sixth, shooting 76-77 in his first national tournament.
The Builders were consistent in the tournament, going 312-313 for the week. Lyon defended their national championship, holding off Johnson & Wales, who fired the low round of the day at 298, seven shots better than the field.
This is the second time in three years the Builders have finished in third place, matching the finish from 2022.
The Builders will next hit the course at Lenoir-Rhyne Fall Invite starting Monday at Lake Hickory Country Club.
