DUBOIS, Pa. - The Apprentice School baseball team brought home a handful of awards Sunday at the USCAA Small College World Series banquet, highlighted by two first team All-Americans.
Zander Mizelle and
Jeremy Harmon were each named to the first team, while
Charley Higginbotham was named a second team All-American.
Nate Yeary earned honorable mention status.
In addition, Harmon,
Matt Phoebus and
Bryce Post earned All-Academic status. Phoebus went on to make the finals of the Home Run Derby later in the night.
The Builders will open up the Small College World Series tomorrow afternoon at 1 p.m. against sixth-seeded Florida National. The game will be played at Showers Field.
