NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - Tickets for the eighth annual Hall of Fame Weekend festivities at The Apprentice School are on sale now!

The weekend's festivities start on Friday, September 18, with the annual Hall of Fame Golf Tournament. All proceeds from the golf tournament go directly to the Hall of Fame initiative. Foursomes are $400 each and include breakfast and lunch. The shotgun start is at 8 a.m. at Ocean View Golf Course in Norfolk

The celebration continues Friday night, with the induction ceremony, held this year at Paradise Ocean Club in Hampton. The class of Carl Bruso, Buddy Denton, Frank Dillard, Doug Green, Wayne Kirby, Colton Messick, and the 1967 and 1968 track teams will be formally inducted into the history books as the eighth class of Hall of Famers at The Apprentice School during the dinner and ceremony that starts at 5:30 p.m. with a cocktail hour

Finally, the Hall of Famers will be honored at halftime of the Hall of Fame Day football game on Sept. 19 against George Mason University. Kickoff is at 1 p.m. and tickets for the game can be purchased by going to GoBuilders.com/tickets.
